Welcome to Online Giving!
Thank you for your interest in contributing to the mission and ministry of the Western North Dakota Synod. It is the gifts of our hands, feet, voices, and financial resources that enable God’s work to happen through this church. As we live out our faith as stewards of all that God has blessed us with, we offer multiple ways for you to prayerfully support the ministry of our synod – individually and as a congregation.
2025 Annual Appeal
Grace and peace to you in the name of Christ Jesus!
Our 2025 synod assembly theme centered us around words from the Apostle Paul to the church in Ephesus: “That Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith, as you are being rooted and grounded in love.” (3:16-17) God’s love is the rich soil from which our faith and ministries grow. Rooted in that love, we are strengthened to be the church God is calling us to be — in our congregations, across our synod, and throughout the world.
By God’s grace and through God’s call, the Western North Dakota Synod is sustained by three sources of financial support: congregational mission support, ELCA grants for two synod staff positions, and individual gifts through the Annual Appeal. These gifts make it possible for us to: walk with congregations in transition; care for seminarians and rostered ministers; equip lay leaders; accompany our companion synod in the Central African Republic; support campus ministry at Minot State University; walk alongside our four Bible camps; and invest in new and renewing ministries like new partnerships that are forming in ways we never imagined possible between nearly two dozen congregations in the northwest and southwest regions of the synod. Together, these ministries share the gospel and bear fruit across God’s church.
Every gift is a seed planted in the soil of God’s love. Together, those gifts grow into ministries that encourage leaders, nurture faith in young people, support global partners, and proclaim Christ in word and deed.
Thank you for being part of this holy work. Your generosity is more than a gift — it is a witness to the living Christ in our midst and a sign of the Spirit’s power at work among us. When we are rooted and grounded in love, God brings forth an abundance of hope and life through us. CLICK THIS LINK to give online now.

Congregational Giving
Congregational Mission Support is a portion of a congregation’s weekly financial offering that is shared with the synod. Mission Support blesses God’s work happening across our synod and in every corner of the world. Mission Support is the most important part of financial support to our synod’s mission and ministry. Simply stated, without Congregational Mission Support, the Western North Dakota Synod would cease to exist.
