Help Support Our Companion Synod
Sweet Deal for C.A.R.
Each year our synod works together to raise funds to support ministry of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in the Central African Republic (C.A.R.), our companion synod.
One way we do this is through the Sweet Deal for C.A.R. project. Your congregation can contact the synod office (info@wndsynod.org) to reserve tubes of M&M Minis. These tubes can then be handed out in your congregation so members can enjoy the sweet treats then return the tubes filled with quarters. Each tube holds about $14 in quarters.
Once you have collected the tubes, bring your proceeds (in the form of a check) to the synod assembly in June. Last year we were able to raise over $30,000 to be used in partnership with those in the C.A.R. These funds were used to put roofs on churches, build schools and provide scholarships for education, support the work of the Gallo Clinic and provide Bibles.
