What's Happening in the Western North Dakota Synod?

The primary focus of this year's event will move from a business model to an emphasis on training and equipping us for mission in Christ's name. Congregations are encouraged to bring not only their alotted number of voting members but also others from their congregation interested in being better equipped for mission and ministry. Sweet Deal for CAR is Back!
During the 2012 Synod Assembly, three Bible Studies were presented with a focus on mission. After feedback from Assembly participants, the materials have been revamped and integrated into a new Bible Study resource that can help guide your congregation through a missional process of reflection and discernment around who God is calling you to be in your community. These documents are provided in both .doc & .pdf formats. The intent is that they are to serve as guides for your conversation. By providing them in .doc format you will be able to edit the materials to fit your context. Some may choose to offer them in a 3 session format; others might break each session down into several sessions. We look forward to hearing your feedback. If you use these sessions, please send us a summary of your experience and the mission plan that your congregation develops through the process.
