Bishop Narum Speaks at 2012 Convocation for Teaching Theologians
The annual Convocation of Teaching Theologians was hosted by the ELCA’s Congregational and Synodical Mission unit and the Association of Teaching Theologians — ELCA/ELCIC, August 13–15, 2012 at Capital University and Trinity Lutheran Seminary in Columbus, Ohio.
The purpose of this gathering, is to provide a venue for theologians from ELCA and ELCIC seminaries, colleges, universities and non-Lutheran schools to come together with bishops and other church leaders to examine and discuss a theological topic of significance to the church. The focus of this year’s gathering was: "Eco-Lutheranism?" Bishop Narum was invited to address this gathering of theologians to reflect with them on the theological significance and impact of oil production on our state.
