Support ministry in the Central African Republic by bringing the Sweet Deal for C.A.R. Project to your congregation!

What is the Sweet Deal for C.A.R. Project?

The synod has ordered boxes of Mini M&Ms which come in plastic tubes just the right size to hold about $14 in quarters. Congregations are encouraged to pick up boxes of the tubes to distribute in their congregations. Your members can enjoy the sweet treats then return the tubes filled with quarters. Funds raised will go to support ministry in our companion synod, the Central African Republic.

What will the funds generated do in the C.A.R.?

The funds raised will go to support ministry priorities identified by our partners in ministry on the ground in the Central African Republic. Possible projects might include:

building primary schools in remote areas through the Village Education Project and providing scholarships for children to attend

providing scholarships for young women to attend high school, vocational training, or university

putting roofs on churches built by members of congregations in the Central African Republic

building spring boxes which provide clean drinking water to village

Contact the Synod office by calling 701-223-5312 or e-mailing beth@wndsynod.org to request your Mini M&Ms. M&M's can be picked up in both Minot and Bismarck. Distribute the M&M's to your congregation and bring a check for the amount raised to the 2012 Synod Assembly in Minot June 1-2, 2012.
